IBPS PO Prelims 2019:
IBPS PO is one of the dream jobs for many of the banking aspirants. The selection process of IBPS PO involves 3 stages namely online preliminary exam, online mains exam, and personal interview. IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern:
The prelims exam has 3 sections namely the English language, Reasoning ability and quantitative aptitude. The reasoning ability and the quantitative aptitude sections have 35 questions each. The English language section has 30 questions. There are totally 100 questions in the exam. Each question carries 1 mark. So negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. the maximum marks for the exam is 100. Each section has the sectional timing of 20 minutes each. So you cannot swap between the sections. Tips to score 25+ in Reasoning Section:
- In the Reasoning section from the total of 35 questions you can easily score 25+ marks. For that your preparation should be strong. Then you have to manage the time efficiently. Also you should have good speed and rate of accuracy.
- In the exam your first attempt should be the questions from the syllogism and inequality topics. In these topics you can have 5 to 10 questions combined. These topics will fetch you the full marks easily if you have done enough practice.
- Then come to coding decoding. If you find the clue for the question within a minute you can solve all the 5 questions easily. For that you have to learn many new pattern of questions. This will help you to find the clue easily for the difficult coding decoding questions.
- Then come to alphanumeric series questions. This will give you full marks easily if you attend carefully. About 3 to 5 questions are expected from this topic.
- After that you can attend the direction sense questions in which 3 questions are expected. With good practice you can get all the 3 right.
- Then you can attend the blood relation questions in which 3 questions are expected. The questions will be of the moderate level. So if you practice according to that you can get full marks in this topic.
- Then you can attend order and ranking or any other easier miscellaneous topics. This will fetch you 3 to 5 marks easily.
- At last according to available time try to solve 1 or 2 puzzle and seating arrangement questions. Practice more moderate to difficult level puzzles.
